DIY Mascara

Greetings!

Make-up has been used throughout the ages to enhance personal beauty. Recently I blogged about growing beautiful lushes lashes naturally (Read article here: http://originalbeauty7.blogspot.com/2012/10/long-healthy-eyelashes-naturally.html) 

If you would like a cosmetic boost to your lashes, check out this easy and simple recipe for mascara.

Directions:

1. Empty Capsules into bowl. I used two here, but you probably only need one.




2. Mix in about a tsp of aloe juice. 



3.My mixture was a little clumpy so I added in a drop of coconut oil to smooth out before applying to my lashes.

I applied to only my top lashes so you can see the comparison. 

I haven't tried to store this product, but it is easy enough to make before use.

In addition to its use in beauty, activated charcoal  can be used to save your life! Activated charcoal is good at trapping chemicals and prevents their absorption. Charcoal can be used to filter water of impurities, to make a quick mask to filter air of smoke or gases, or even to make your own battery.
