Mini-Twist!

Greetings!

My new endeavor is another all natural style, mini twist. I love the results. An all natural flax seed gel was used in the installation. Have you tried mini twist? Do you love them?

Flax Seed Gel Recipe

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups distilled water
1/3 cups whole raw flax seeds
Aloe Vera Juice
Jojoba oil

Simmer seeds in water until mixture thickens. Stir consistently with whisk to prevent seeds from sticking to pot. Carefully pour mixture into a stocking. Use tongs to strain gel from stocking into container. Add small amount of aloe and a few drops of Jojoba oil. You can also add any essential oils for fragrance. Enjoy!

  2. Yours look GREAT! I've only had mine in for a week and a half and while I like my second week hair better than my first week hair, they are coming APART! It's to the point where I have to take them down Friday.

  3. Yours look GREAT! How long can you get them to stay up? I installed a set last week and while I like my second week hair better than my first week hair (because it has more volume), these things are coming APART! Hardly a day has gone by this week where I haven't had to re-twist some. My new growth is wild as all get out and they are just not gonna last long, period. I have to take them down Friday. If I leave 'em up for a month like I've seen some people do, I MIGHT end up with locs (which I don't want).
