Product Review - Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay

Greetings!
Recently I ead about the amazing healing powers of natural clays. Clay has been used for thousands of years for both medicinal and beauty routines. Claims have been made that food grade clay, when ingested, can heal almost any GI complication. Its beauty uses are insurmountable. It has been said that Cleopatra used clay from the Nile River and the Arabian Desert over 1800 years ago, as part of her beauty ritual.
Robert T. Martin, a mineralogist at MIT, points to certain bentonite clays "as a powerful agent of stimulation, transformation and transmission of energy." He says, "that it has a natural magnetic action and transmits an extraordinary strength to the organism, and helps to rebuild vital potential through the liberation of latent energy."
Well, I decided to try it out. I bought the Aztec Indian Healing Clay from Trader Joes. It was reasonably priced at around $7. The Aztec Indian Healing Clay claimed to be the “World’s Most powerful Facial”.

So I tried it. I mixed the clay with Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar as given in the recipe on the jar. My first reaction was, WOW!

This clay can also be used for body wraps, foot soaks, or in the bath.

The clay started bubbling once mixed with the vinegar. This initially scared me, but I decided to go ahead and give it a try. The clay mixed smoothly and felt cool when applied to my face. After a few brief moments when the clay began to dry, I felt a strong pulsating pulling and tightening of the skin. You can actually feel this product working! It almost felt as if there was a tugging at the skin.

The clay is very fine, almost powder like.

I also found this clay in bulk at Wholefoods.

The product was a little hard to remove. It took quite a minute with rinsing with warm water to get it off. It left my skin very dry, but smooth. I would defiantly recommend this product. Maybe I’ll build up the courage to buy a food grade clay for a detox?

Until next time…. Live Well!
