With a hefty price tag of $80, it is definitely for the natural beauties that live for luxury. If you don’t like the price, keep reading for a DIY recipe.  The Honey Mud has top quality packaging made of a dark, heavy weight glass.  You get about 3.38 fl oz of product. It can be used as a mask or a gentle cleaser. I prefer to use it as a hydrating mask followed by a separate clenser. I find that even with the most meticulous rinsing the product does leave a slight residue on the skin.

The Honey mud has the highest quality ingredients found on the market. They are listed as follows:

True to the brand, the Honey mud is definitely a full on sensory experience. I like to also mix the honey mud with the “Clean Dirt” as an exfoliate.

DIY Mud Mask Ingredients

·       1 teaspoon of White halloysite clay ( or kaolinite if you can’t get the other one)

·       1 teaspoon raw honey

·       1 teaspoon of witch hazel water (or more if needed)

·       1/2 tsp of powdered calendula and chamomile flowers (optional)

·       1 drops of lavender essential oil (optional)

·       1 drop of Ylang Ylang oil
